A New and Native Beauty: The Art and Craft of Greene & Greene, by Edward R. Bosley, Anne E. Mallek

Hardcover - First Edition (MINT)

This book is the first in-depth survey of the decorative arts of Greene and Greene. Essays offer new perspectives on the brothers and their architectural and artistic legacy; on their collaborators, clients, and influences; and on the specific areas of craft into which the Greenes ventured, including their furniture designs, intricate metalwork, and stained glass. Greene scholars provide insight into why the brothers' work was so successful, and why, after their creative skills were overlooked for decades, their designs still resonate today.
