Iron - Wolf's final battle takes place after just three issues as the lead of Weird Worlds. Between dwindling sales and the fact that the title's earlier Edgar Rice Burroughs - based features had not proved cost effective, DC discontinued publication of Weird Worlds with its tenth issue in November 1974. The series would be one of Chaykin's final long term undertakings with DC.
