Step back in time to the not-so-distant past, when playing on a farm was the most fun you could have. What Anna Loves celebrates the industrious life of a working ranch as seen through the eyes of a little girl. Anna exuberantly shares her love of everything from walnut-shell boats to fence mending, from the fun of packing oranges to hay rides. Just don't expect her to muck out those smelly stalls! Based on the true childhood experiences of Andra Simmons on her family's famous Hurst Ranch in the 1950s, this heartfelt tribute blends an appreciation for hard work with a reverence for the summer's simple pleasures—inner-tubing, family picnics, and ice-cold lemonade.
